Retail Agreement of Terms
By placing an order with Classic Hardware Inc. you hereby understand and agree to abide by the policies set forth in this agreement. These terms are subject to change at any time and we reserve the right to refuse any retail order for any reason.
You may place your retail order with us any of the following ways: via our online shopping cart, by email, or over the phone!
Payment details for retail orders are due in full upon placement of an order. All retail orders are payable by Paypal or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex). Your credit card will be charged the full amount upon ordering through our online shopping cart. If you order through one of our other approved methods your account will not be charged until your order is complete and ready to ship.
Orders cancelled prior to shipping are available for a 100% refund. Orders cancelled after shipment or refused upon delivery, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping incurred. Because we are unable to recover the credit card fees that we incur from our credit card merchant account, orders that are canceled after the credit card charges have cleared (midnight on the same day the order was placed) will be refunded less 3% of the total charge.
Sales tax applies to all California customers, for the percentage charged by county.
Delivery & Shipping Information
Since all items are assembled by hand, production time may vary. All items are handmade to order. Please allow 2-5 business days for your order to be processed before it is shipped to you. We will notify you if your item is on backorder. You will receive an e-mail when your order has shipped. Please add 1-2 days turnaround during high volume times such as the winter holiday season. Please plan ahead and order early!
Estimated shipping time for USPS Domestic Priority Mail and UPS Ground is between 2-5 business days depending on your location. If an order is received after 5pm Pacific Standard Time Monday through Friday, it will be processed the next business day. Most orders will ship out within 2 days of ordering (we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays or holidays). Two Day and Overnight Delivery orders placed after 10 am PST will not ship until the next business day. Your shipping total will depend on weight, destination and carrier chosen.
Please contact us if you have a preference for a particular shipping method that isn’t already offered during checkout. Shipping is automatically calculated by weight, and actual shipping charges will be added to your total.
We will replace all damaged/defective merchandise for an identical item. Please contact us before returning any products. If items are received damaged contact us immediately so we can arrange accommodations. All orders will be shipped with proper insurance, and we are not responsible for damages caused by the shipping carrier. If you have a shipping damage claim, please contact the shipping carrier and Classic Hardware Inc. immediately. Shipping damages are not our responsibility and are therefore not entitled for refund or exchange.
Please notify Classic Hardware inc within 48 hours of receipt of an order of any discrepancies.
Classic Hardware Inc. knows that you will LOVE your purchase! With that said, if you need to return an item you may do so within 10 days of receipt. Please call (818) 841-8485 for a return authorization number. Shipping fees apply. All returns must be accompanied by a Classic Hardware return authorization number. Non-authorized returns will be refused and returned to customer. All authorized returns will be credited to your account. No cash refunds will be issued by Classic Hardware.
Privacy and Confidentiality
We know that your privacy is important and valuable. We will never share any information with a third party without your prior written permission. We will add your email address to our newsletter distribution list.
Individual boxes for jewelry items are available for an additional charge.
